What You Need
01
Heat Gun
This helps vinyl bend around edges and removes bubbles. A hair dryer also works well for beginners to soften the material.
02
Squeegee
A soft tool to press the vinyl down. It helps you get a smooth finish and pushes out any trapped air without any drama.
03
Pure Cleaner
Use soft cloths and rubbing alcohol. If the surface isn't totally clean, the stickers won't stay.
04
Craft Knife
Use a sharp blade to trim away extra bits or carefully pop any tiny bubbles that just won't go away.
Clean the Surface
01. Scrub It
Wash the spot with soap and water first. Use a basic degreaser to get rid of any old oils or wax. A clean base is the most important part for a long-lasting look.
02. Alcohol Rub
Wipe the whole area with rubbing alcohol and a clean cloth. This removes hidden dust so the glue sticks perfectly to your ride or gear.
03. Cool Spot
Make sure the surface is not hot. Room temperature is best. Stay out of the sun while you work so the vinyl doesn't get too stretchy or sticky too fast.
How to Apply
Vinyl Decals
Clean with alcohol first. Peel the back, line it up, and press from the middle out. Use a little heat on the edges to make sure it stays stuck forever.
Easy Care
Wait one day before washing. Wash by hand only and stay away from power washers. For shirts, wash inside out in cold water and air dry to keep the print fresh.
The Prep
Preparation is key. Clean off all dirt and wax. Do not use window cleaners like Windex because they leave a slippery film that stops the glue from working.
DTF Prints
Press the shirt for 5 seconds to dry it. Place the print and press hard at 320°F for 15 seconds. Let it get cold before you peel the film off slowly.
Helpful Tips & FAQs
Stickers Not Sticking?
This is usually due to wax or oil. Clean it again with alcohol. If it is cold outside, use a heat gun to warm the surface so the glue gets tacky and grips.
See Some Air Bubbles?
Stay calm. Use a tiny pin to poke the bubble and push the air out. Next time, move slower and use your squeegee with firm, overlapping strokes.
Print Peeling Off?
For clothing, you need more pressure. If it lifts, put parchment paper over it and press hard again for 10 seconds. Always let it cool before peeling.
Edges Coming Up?
You might have touched the glue with your fingers. Use heat to soften the edge and press it back down firmly. Check your wash settings for apparel items.
Keep it Looking Good
Keep your gear fresh. Hand wash with mild soap and avoid high pressure. Don't use harsh chemicals on vinyl. Treat your graphics well and they will stay looking new.
