Welcome to LEF Designs. By accessing this website and/or purchasing our products, you agree to the following Terms, Conditions, and Policies. We specialize in custom motorcycle graphics, custom apparel, vinyl decals, DTF transfers, and related custom-designed products for customers who demand precision.

GENERAL TERMS

By using this website, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your state or have permission from a parent or guardian to use this site. We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace any part of these Terms at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically for changes.

 CUSTOM ORDERS

  • All custom orders are created based on requests, ideas, and artwork references. Because custom work is made specifically for each rider:
  • Custom orders are final sale.
  • No returns or refunds are offered.
  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate information before production.
  • We are not responsible for errors involving spelling, sizing, or fitment.

DESIGN APPROVAL

  • All custom orders include a proof approval process.
  • Review proofs for spelling, layout, and bike model details.
  • Once approved, the design is final and production starts.
  • No design changes or cancellations are guaranteed after approval.
  • No refunds for approved errors.

 Design Ownership & Intellectual Property

All artwork, graphics, layouts, mockups, custom concepts, and original designs created by LEF Designs remain the intellectual property of LEF Designs, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Purchase of a product does not transfer ownership of the artwork itself. Customers may not copy our artwork, reproduce our designs, resell our digital files, or claim our designs as their own. We reserve the right to display completed work in our portfolio or promotional materials. LEF Designs™

 No Logo Replication Clause

We do not reproduce, copy, redraw, alter, or recreate trademarked logos, including but not limited to manufacturer marks, brand emblems, protected trade dress, or closely imitated brand symbols. This includes protected logos, manufacturer emblems, and trademarked motorcycle company logos. If customer-submitted artwork includes trademarked logos, the customer is fully responsible for having proper authorization. We reserve the right to refuse, modify, or cancel orders that violate intellectual property law.

Licensing & Standards

Unless otherwise stated in writing, all designs, transfers, and artwork sold by LEF Designs are for personal use only. Commercial use requires a separate license for reselling apparel, using artwork on products for profit, or business production. Extended licensing is available for larger production runs and wholesale use.

Product Standards & Disclaimer

We strive for accuracy, but slight color variations may occur due to monitor/phone screen differences, printing methods, and material textures. Minor differences in shade, scale, placement, or finish are part of the custom process and do not qualify as product defects.

APPAREL CARE

Apparel Policy
Customers are responsible for choosing correct sizing. Customized garments cannot be returned for fitment issues.

 DTF / Vinyl Care Guide
To maintain quality, wash inside out in cold water and tumble dry low. Do not iron directly on the print. Improper care is the liability of the customer.

Installation Disclaimer

Professional installation is strongly recommended for motorcycle graphics, decals, wraps, and multi-piece vinyl applications. By purchasing these products, the customer agrees that installation is performed at their own risk. We are not responsible for: misalignment, stretching, air bubbles, wrinkles, lifted edges, installation damage, paint damage, clear coat damage, surface failure, or application errors. Customers are responsible for proper prep, correct installation environment, and correct use of the product.

FITMENT GUIDE

Motorcycle Graphics Fitment Guide
Fitment varies based on model, year, and modifications. We do not guarantee fit on non-stock bikes. Customers are responsible for confirming all bike version details and measurements before production.

Installer Liability Waiver

By purchasing and installing any motorcycle graphics, decals, wraps, or adhesive products from LEF Designs, the customer accepts full responsibility for the installation process and final result. The customer agrees that LEF Designs is not liable for: improper installation, damage during installation, adhesion failure caused by poor prep, surface contamination, temperature-related failure, existing paint defects, or post-install wear due to road use, weather, washing, heat, or misuse. Purchase and use of these products constitutes acceptance of this waiver.

Surface Prep Guide for Vinyl Graphics

 

At LEF Designs, we create high-quality custom vinyl graphics designed to last — but proper installation starts with proper preparation.

 

Before applying any vinyl wrap or decal, it is critical that the surface is completely clean and free of oils, wax, or contaminants.


Step 1: Clean

Wash the surface using mild soap and water to remove dirt and debris. Dry thoroughly with a microfiber cloth.


Step 2: Degrease

Wipe the area using 70–90% isopropyl alcohol to remove oils, fingerprints, and residue.


Step 3: Remove Wax or Coatings

Vinyl will not adhere properly to waxed or ceramic-coated surfaces. These must be fully removed prior to installation.


Step 4: Final Prep

Ensure the surface is dry, dust-free, and at room temperature before applying your vinyl.

 

Important Areas

Extra care should be taken on:

  • Edges and seams

  • Curved surfaces

  • Plastic fairings

  • Gas tanks

LEF Designs is not responsible for installation issues caused by improper surface preparation.

TIMELINES & SHIPPING

Turnaround Time
Production times vary depending on order volume, customization level, and proof approval speed. Estimated production times are not guaranteed. Shipping time is separate from production time.

Shipping Policy
Once an order has shipped, responsibility transfers to the carrier. We are not responsible for carrier delays, lost or stolen packages marked as delivered, or incorrect shipping addresses entered by the customer. Customers are responsible for verifying their shipping information at checkout.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

Returns & Exchanges
All custom products are non-refundable, non-returnable, and non-exchangeable once proof approval has been given or production has started. Damaged or incorrect orders on non custom orders must be reported within 24-48 hours of delivery with clear photos. LEF Designs reserves the right to deny a refund if it is determined that the issue was not caused by our business.

Cancellations
Orders may only be canceled within 24 hours of purchase and only if custom design work or production has not yet begun. Once custom design work, printing, or production has started, the order cannot be canceled.

LIABILITY & CONTACT

LEF Designs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products, including installation errors, fitment issues, or surface damage. Purchase and use of our products constitutes acceptance of these terms.
